Principal's Message

Mission Statement

Eisenhower High School, in partnership with parents and community members, will ensure all students will graduate with the skills necessary for success in school, work and life through the Cadet tradition of Integrity, Kindness and Engagement.

August 22, 2024

Cadet Family,

I hope each of you had a wonderful summer break and are ready for a great 2024-25 school year. The staff and I are working hard to prepare for a successful start of the school year. Our first day of school will be Thursday, August 22. The school day starts at 8:00AM and will end at 2:35PM. If you are transporting your student to school, I recommend that you plan on being at the school by 7:45AM. All students are provided breakfast and lunch.

Eisenhower’s is to prepare all students for graduation and beyond. We are continuing to add several new dual credit courses with both Eastern Washington University and Central Washington University. These courses along with our Advanced Placement classes provide all of our students an opportunity to challenge themselves academically and prepare for post high school education. Dual credit courses allow students to earn both high school and college credits at the same time with no cost the families or students.

The main office is open Monday through Friday. Office hours will be 7:30AM to 3:30PM.  This event is student-centered. Eisenhower Open House will be Thursday, September 5 (6:00PM to 7:30PM), and all families are invited.

Eisenhower encourages every student to participate in an extra-curricular activity. If you are planning on joining a fall sport you need to register online (www.ikeathletics.com) under the FamilyID registration tab. Football starts Wednesday, August 21st and the rest of Fall Sports begin practices Monday, August 26. If you have any sports related questions, please feel free to contact our Athletic Director  Mr. Stephens (509-573-2604 or stephens.paul@ysd7.org).

I want to thank each of you for being part of the Cadet Family, and for being involved in your student’s education. Families are welcome to visit Eisenhower. Our goal is to build a positive relationship with you as we work together to make your student’s high school experience positive and successful.  If you have any questions about the upcoming school year, please feel free to contact me via email.

Have a great day, and Go Cadets!
